KMC Endurance Training

We are excited to announce a new class to our program offerings – KMC Endurance Training!  This class is designed to develop general endurance and general speed as we head into the warm weather months!  These workouts are done by feel and the mental/emotional stress of these workouts will be distance.  Walking is acceptable – you go at your own pace.  One day per week will be a longer distance run while the other day will be a shorter, sprint style workout to increase speed PLUS a body-weight exercise routine post run.  Here’s the scoop:


-Training Goal = Endurance Capacity

-Average Workout Time = 60 Minutes (includes warm-up, workout, cool down, and on shorter sprint days a quick body-weight routine)

-Dates = May 1st, 2018 – June 21st, 2018

-Times Per Week = 2x per week on Tuesday and Thursday nights @ 6:30 p.m.  (meet at CrossFit KMC)

-Membership Levels = 16 Sessions = $89.  1 Session = $10 to drop in for a class*  This is purchased on ZenPlanner and is a closed class for those who purchase the membership.  If a community member purchases this membership option and joins, they are eligible for a FREE Prep Course (must be redeemed within 3 months)   

-Program Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Anyone can do this program (friends, co-workers, etc…) – this is for CrossFit members AND community members alike.  Each participant gets a sheet for each class, with the workout for that day.  They will be able to record their body weight before and after each workout as well as workout results.

We will have stopwatches to use, but depending on the size of the class may not have one for everybody.  Having a personal wrist watch / stopwatch is best to keep track of times / intervals.
